The adjourned li'ill'-yeaily mooting of shareholders -in the Poverty Buy Go-operative Supply Stores Association was hold in l iowniey'u Half Jaot evening. The president (Mr. W. riiovwinght) occupied tho chair, and 1 chore was a good ;ui tendance. The report and balance-sheet, as already published' in the “Times,” were road and adopted. Tile 'retiring ollicers were all r'celooted, Mr. S. W. Oxen ham to tho position of vice-president, and Messrs Leslie, Lowndes, Akroyd, and Reid no the committee of management. Mr C. G. Picsso, the retiring auditor, wus ro-elwtod : .

Rule 17 was amended so that the half-yearly meetings of shareholders may' bo held not later than three months after the half-yearly balance, thereby giving the auditors ample time to complete their investigations. A dividend of six per cent, on paidup share capital was declared, and a vote of thanks was passed to the manager (Mr. W. R. Brady) and the staff. '

The meeting was then adjourned until November 2nd. when the purchase of the freehold of tho property will be further considered.
