UTILITY POULTRY CLUB.
ANN UAL MEETIN G
'Hie annual meeting of the Utility Poultry Club was held last night in Mr. O. J. Morell’* store, Whntaupoko, when there w..is a fair attendance of members, Mr, F. J. Rowley occupying the chair. The minutes of the last meeting having'been read and confirmed, the annual report and balance-sheet were read and .adopted. The balance-sheet showed a small deficit on the year’s working, and it was decided that a small levy he made on last ye-ir’s members, and to raise the subscription t (> 4s per annum. The offer of Mr. Morell to givo the use of his room to the club at a small rental was accepted with thanks. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. F. J. Rowley; vice-presidents, Messrs Rait, Brown, and Faram; secretary, Mr. O. J. Morell.
A hearty vote of thanks was passed to- Mr. Morell for his past services to the club, and regret at his absence from the meeting through indisposition, and wishing him • a speedy -recovery.
