11l connection with the .cabled proposals to wirelessly link the Pacific Islands with Australasia, a representative of the amalgamated Poulsen Radio Company, of London, states that negotiations aiie proceeding with the Governments of the various islands interested. He says that the Commonwealth and the New -Zealand Governments are favorably disposed, and the various shipping companies have agreed to f co-operate. Should the company receive sufficient support a start will he made with the scheme at the new year. It will take twelve months to complete.
