ALGERIAN EARTHQUAKE.

Earthquake shocks were experienced Inst- night, extending over a period of six hours, in Constantino and Phvlip- . ville, Algeria. The shocks resulted in the cracking of every public building in Constantine (a largo town forming one of the ■three departments of Algeria that constitute an integral part of Franco). The people were terror-stricken, and fled from the houses, assembling in a half-dressed condition in the public squares.
