SIGHT-TESTING BILL.
AN AUSTRALIAN CONTRADICTION. United Press Association, Copyright (Received August 4, 12.37 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 4. The attention of some of tho leading opticians has been called t<> a paragraph in a Wellington paper ot Julv 13th stating that the Now Zealand chomists intend to ask the Government to introduce a sight-testing Bill on tho lines of tho Now South Wales Act of 190 G. There is no such Act on the Now South Wales Statuto Book. A Bill was introduced into the Council, but failed to got beyond the first reading.
