At a meeting of the Christchurch Sports Club held on Saturday, tho following team -was selected to represent Canterbury iu the New Zealand championships on August 19 and 20: Bantam weight. J. Parker, G. Judge, R. Hcatley, H. McColion, and W. Midgley; feather-weight, E. F. -Gundry. A. Hall, J. Young, S. Mangin, and H. Bennett; light-weight, F. Turner and A. Thomson; welterweight, R. (Masse and C. H. Findlay: middle-weight, J. Lloyd, A. Birch, A. Chick, and F. H. Jonc6; heavyweight,' J. Cross, J. Shaw, and T. Shaw. The team will he strengthened by tlie inclusion of T. Stewart (bantam) and W. Elliott (feather-weight), who have been nominated bv tlie Timaru Sports Chib. It was deckled the entries should close on August 13, and th&t the local entry should
