Tho sittings of tho Tni-Rawluti Maori Lind Board .wore opened in tho Native [Land Court yesterday. Mr. A. Keefor took his soat for tho first time ns President of tho Board, and Mr. J. W. Nolan congratulated him upon his appointment. The Board granted the following lenses:—Tutno Kuri No. 1 C 14, 740 acres, to Airs. L. 1,. Walker, for 21 veirs; Ahiniu No. 1 A, 355 acres, to Atr. J. B. Poynter, for 21 years; Ometa, 38 ncres, to .SR. .Preston, tor 10 years; Kahn at lire la No. 2" D and 2 F, 4SG acres, to Airs. M. Powdroll, for 21 vojts; Kojina Kilii No. 1 B, 360 acres, to J. H. Martin, for 21 years: Onriki No. 1 B, 63 acres, to, J• and G. Jones, for 21 vein's; Peiitu No. 2, 734 acres, to W. Dobson. ,1 nili., for 21 years; Kopiatunki No. 2 Dock, 1500 acres, to Donald McDonald, for 21'years; Puninga No. 3, 588 nci is, to llonii Porou and Puna Cooper, for 21 years; and to the same applurinls WliareoiTgaonga block, No. 2, 260 ncres, for 21 years. The Board also recommenced the Government to remove the restrict oms upon the Orangituohia li'pck 7 C for the purpose of sale to Air. P. -1 ■ Hoiuinertield.
