WELLINGTON, August 3.
Hon. Henry Eeldwick, M.L.C., died in Wellington this evening; aged 64 years.
[Hon. Henry Fefld-wick, M.L.C., V.D., was a Surrey man, and arrived in New Zealand in 1858. As a vouth lie was farming with his parents, and , lie then -adopted a literary career, r'l being at o:ie time and -another on the staffs of the “Lyttelton Times,” “Timaru Herald,” and “Canterbury Times.” .Subsequently -lie became a partner in the “Southland Daily Nows,” and held various public positions in Invercargill. He represented that town n'n Parliament in 1878-79 and 1882-84, and was called to the Legislative Council by the Scddon Ministry in 1892.]
