Sheep : Our yarding comprised 1655 of which we sold ITI3 at the following prices: Cull lioggots 3s 6d to os 6d, better lines 8s to 10s, at which prices fair hoggets would appear to be really good buying, two-tootli ewes 11s Id, sound-mouth ewes .in lamb 9s 2d fo 10s 9d. empty ewes, in fair forward condition, 8s to 10s, fat ewes 12s 3d to 13s. Cattle: The pens were fairly well filled. Our entry comprised 209, of •yliicli we sold 195. The major por;ion of the entry was very useful ■ateoi's from <tw<> to three years old. These sold at (from £4 to £4, 3s 6d, four-ye ir-okl well-grown bullocks £4 17s Gd, herd cows, old and in low condition, 15s to 30s, useful herd cows •>2s, dairy cows £4 10s, calves 12s 6d for small, badly-bred_sorts, 23s 6d to 25s for better lines, yearling steers 32s Cd .to 365, heef steers £7. Pigs : The pig ipens were well filled with very good sorts, and the demand ■was active, small porkers making from 1.7 s to 235! heavier pigs 28s to 435. The next sale will be held on the 13th August, and five shall be glad to receive prompt lintimation of entries in order that usual publicity may be given.
