[Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 9. The Trades and Labor Council tonight set lip a committee to assist the Wellington Bakers’ Union in dealing with tho strike, and decided to ask for financial aid from all Unions and Tridcs Councils in the Dominion. Mention of the Arbitration Rill caused an uproar', the general opinion of delegates being decidedly -against it. The matter was referred to the Council’s Parliamentary Committee. A one-year-old child was found dead in bed in a house at Heathcote this morning, presumably suffocated. A coroner’s inquest will be held tomorrow. : : .
