Mr. Jolm Hiiiiter, a well-known contractor,, is definitely announced as the Opposition candidate for the Masterton seat, against Mr. Hogg, the present member. Mr. Hunter is a member of the firm that built the . Wellington Town Hall. In a recent Borough election at Masterton, he secured a very good poll, and he is Slid to'be popular and good speaker.
