Jn connection with tlio Canadian [ j t >iy'Terceutenary and the reservation of r?* : 'th© famous battlefield of Quebec as a public park, it has been decided that each New Zealand school child should be asked to contribute one penny towards the funds, after which their names will bo embodied in a
memorial and sent to Canada. Members of the Educational Board this morning expressed their approval of the project, which would tend to the cementing of the two peoples who had years ago faced each other in battle but were now rapidly becoming one nation.
