The enforcement of the Government regulation of the size of grain sacks was urged upon the Government by the conference. -Mr. Canham, Auckland, said that -Maoris had been sending to Auckland sacks with -1001 bof maize. iMr. Voycc. Lyttel- i ton, complained that bags contain- i ing 2431bs were .shipped,' but a sack 1$ of 2001bs should he the maximum /. weight. Ithvas decided to thank and - congratulate the Government on bringing in regulations to reduce the size of grain sacks.
