Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. hold a clearing sale of furniture and effects at their mart to-day. The premises of Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. are closed to-day for stocktaking and annual balance. Messrs J. Peckover and Co. have for sale 1056 acres near Nuhaka. A reward is offered for the return of a curb chain bangle lost on Friday night last. The poundkeeper lias an impounding notice in this issue. Messrs Tattcrsfield and Co., of Auckland, are giving up their retail drapery business, and will shortly offer their stock at cost price to effect a clearance. The firm will open in Peel street, next to the Public Library. An advertiser requires board and residence close to town immediately. A reward is offered for the return of a bicycle to Messrs Johnston and Miller.
