A DOCTOR FINED. A GRUDGE ALLEGED AGAINST INSPECTOR. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 9. To-day a very interesting ca6o to dairymen was heard at the Magistrate's Court-, beforo Mr.T3. W. Bishop, S.M., when Dr. Levingo was charged, with having used-a dairy, the floor of which was not constructed to the satisfaction of the dairy 'inspector, and a stockyard, tho condition of which did not satisfy him. For tho defence a quantity of evidence was given, and it was stated that the dairy was kept in a firstclass condition, and that tho prosecution was tho outcome of a grudge by tho inspector against defendant, i A conviction was recorded, and tho defendant was fined £6 on tho first charge, so as to give him opportunity of appealing, and 20s on the second.
