Amid a scene of enthusiasm such as has rarelv been witnessed in the Opera House, Mr. Tom Burrows succeeded, on Saturday night, in surpassing life previous record of continuous club-swinging, which he put up in Auckland on May 6tli. His first record iivNew Zealand was that achieved in Wellington, when he swung the clubs for 62 hours 2mins. This feat was improved on to the extent of 4mins by his Auckland performance, and tho second record then established was surpassed by the same margin on Saturday night.
