DIVORCE AND MATRIMONIAL CAUSES ACT. ROYAL ASSENT GIVEN. (Press Association.! WELLINGTON, May G. .'The Attorney-General has been advised' that King Edward has given his assent to the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act passed last session. This measure makes it a ground for divorce that the respondent is a lunatic or a person of unsound mind or has been convicted of the murder of a dhild of the netitioner or respondent.
