CARTLOADS OF BOMBS SEIZED. EXTENSIVE ORGANISATION. United Press Association— Copyright. CALCUTTA., May 4. In connection with the Muggaffarpur outrage, cartloads of bombs and electrical appliances and Anarchists literature were seized at Calcutta. The prisoners include a chemist recently sent to Paris to study the latest methods of terrorism. The worst class of vernacular press and speeches of extremist leaders are responsible for tho Anarchist tendencies of a section of the population. A widespread organisation, well supplied with funds, has been discovered. The police declare the bombs were manufactured in several centres of India. One of tlie Muggaffarpur assassins declared that he was inspired by a study of the vernacular press, and lectures of Benin Chandrapal. Tlie latter is a notorious sedition monger. LONDON, May 4. The Times Simla correspondent says that grave responsibility will rest on Viscount iMor.ley if he refuses to sanction legislation to suppress newspaper incitements to violence. The Daily Express’ Calcutta correspondent states that unconfirmed reports have been circulated that the documents seized at the bomb factory reveal a plot to kill Lord Kitchener and other high officials.
