THE NAPIER SEAT. ANOTHER CANDIDATE. Press Association. NAPIER, May 5. Mr iS. Carnell, a former representative, states that lie will be a candidate for tNapier at the coining general elections. TUAPEKA SEAT, Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 5. Dr. Chappie, of Wellington, and Mr. A. Fraser, of Lawrence, are definitely announced as candidates for the Tuapeka seat. The latter gentleman contested the seat in 1899. It is understood that Mr. H. D. Bedford, who contested the Dunedin North seat at the general election, will be a candidate for the Taieri in the Government interest at the general election. man contested the seat in 1899. It is
