TE RAU WiNSjTHE CHAMPIONTo Ilati and Wanderers finished their match on Saturday at tho Domain. Wanderers had four wickets down for 21 runs and required 95 runs to win, with six wickets to fall. They, however, failed against tho bowling of J. Pine and Schofield, the innings finishing for 53 runs. OP tlieso liarleer had made 10 when ho was finely caught in tho outfield by Vallanco off I’ino. To Ran batted a- second time, and made 82 runs. Cary mado 22 by -free cricket, and Pino played a patient innings for a similar score. Vallanco (11) was tho only other double-figure scorer. Uarkor bowled well, getting six wickets for 39. To Ran thus won tho Saturday championship by G 1 runs on tho first innings. The following are tho scores:
