THE STRANDED TAVIUNI.
EMBEDDED IN SAND. HER RE-FLOATING DOUBTFUL. (Press Association.) WESTPORT, April 30. The discharging of .cargo from the stranded Taviuni has been proceeded with to-day, during a favorable stage of the tide. The vessel .is at .present embedded in sand, suggesting that it will be a difficult matter to shift her; in fact some local shipping neoplo incline to the opinion that the present operations will not be attended with success.
