DEPUTATION TO MINISTER OF JUSTICE. Press Association. AUCKLAND April 13. A public meeting was held at Drury on Saturday evening to further consider the case of Air. AY. Dixon. Air. J., Flanagan was in the chair. It was resolved that a -public petition bo circulated for signatures, and that a deputation of residents .wait upon the Minister of Justice to place tho facts of the case before him. The meeting .was largely attended, some of those present having come in from a considerable distance. Six of the gentlemen present weTO chosen to form the deputation to wait on tho Minister. A great amount- of interest was taken in the case, and opinions were freely expressed.
