Press Association. WESTPORT, March 31. At a meeting of the Westport Labor Union, financial and moral support to the wives and children at Blackball was unanimously decided upon. - QUALIFIED SYMPATHY.
CHEMICAL MANURE WORKERS’ UNION.
Press Association. iDUNEDIN, March 31. The Chemical Manure Workers’ Union passed tho ’following resolution tonight :— : ‘That this Union sympathises with tho men on strike at B’ackball, at the same time regretting that they acted in opposition to the law. FURTHER MONETARY ASSISTANCE. ■WESTPORT LABOR UNION. Press Association. V ; ESTPORT, March 31. The V’estport- Labor Union decided to-night to vote £2O to (he women and children at Blackball, and struck a levy of 6d per week per member, which will realise a further £23 10s per month during the trouble.
