Dalgoty and Co., imet with a shocking accident to-night. He was crossing the tram rails in Cathedralsquare when,he slipped, and an Opawa steam tram, which was then coming in, struck him, the engine passing over him. When the tram stopped, he was found lying face downwards between the engine and the trailer. The latter was uncoupled, and it .was found Cadle liad,received terrible-in-juries, both legs being completely severed below the knee. He was'quite uncons.cious at the time, and was taken to the hospital in .a critical condition. Later. Cadle, who was injured in .the tram accident to-night, died about 11 o’clock.
