Dr. Rivers, lecturer in Physiological and Experimental Phychology, at St: John’s College, Cambridge, who arrived from Samoa by tho steamer Navua , is pursuing anthropological and other scientific research in the Polynesian and Melanesian Archipelagoes as a member of an expedition under the auspices of tho Percy Sladen Trust. Dr. Rivers has visited Hawaii and Fiji, and proceeds hence by the Southern Crqss to tho Solomon Islands, where ho will bo met by other members of tlic party, proceeding via Sydney.
