DISCUSSION IN CHRISTCHURCH. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 30. A meeting of the Canterbury Fruitgrowers’ Association on Saturday night discussed the establishment of an expefminental fruit growing station in Canterbury district. It was resolved to write to the Minister of Agricultural, stating the Riccarton district was adapted for fruit-grow-ing, and the Association consider an experimental fruit station should he established within 2.0 miles.
