MANAWATU WATERSHED.
ROYAL COMMISSION-RE-QUESTED. Press Association. PALMERSTON, March 20. A meeting of delegates, representing the district local bodies, decided yesterday afternoon to ask 'for the appointment of a Royal Commission to report upon the steps proposed to be taken for the control of the overflow of the waters of the Manawatu, Orona, and Poliangina rivers, and all other matters connected therewith.
