THE NAPIER REGATTA"
Press Association. NAPIER, March 19. A race for patikis, in connection with the carnival renatta, was got off this afternoon. The Meteor, when leading, had her throat halyard block —- carried away, which put her out of first place. Maroon (C. F. McDgsald) lmin allowance won, with Edith 6min second on time, and Sunray (W. H. Stevens) lmin third. The Meteor was only just behind her.
