PALMERSTON SITTINGS CONCLUDED.

The criminal sittings of the Supremo Court concluded to-day. John Gascoigne Weightman'.pleaded not guilty to a charge of perjury, arising out of the hearing of a charge of assault and robbery against Win. Lowe and J. C. Robinson. Accused conducted his own case, and the jury returned a verdict of aiot guilty on the ground of mistaken identification. Francis Robert Lincoln was found guilty of a breach of the Bankruntcy Act, and was admitted to probation for 12 months.

Jas. Little, a farmer, of Glenoroua, was found not guilty of a similar offence, and discharged. A decree nisi was granted to Luie Maud Vanstone ,wlio applied for a divorce from her husband, George Vanstone, on the grounds of adultery. No defence was filed.
