ASSISTANCE FROM DENNISTON MINERS. Press Association. WESTPORT, March 16. Mr. Hickey, Blackball delegate, addressed a. meeting of miners at l)eniiistoil last night. Tlio men decided to subscribe funds to assist towards tho innintoiijijico of women and children at Blackball It is unlikely the trouble at Blackball will affect the regular working of the mines in tho Mestport- district. A suggestion mado at the meeting that tho minors lay down thoir tools did not meet with any support whatever.
