BOWLING.
There was a good attendance at the Gisborne club’s green on Saturday afternoon when a number of interesting games wore played. Following arc details of the play:—Champion Singles—Martin (26) beat AA’itty (12); Hookey (20) beat Paltridge (14); ordinary games—Collins. AVilson, Pavitt, Hookey (27) beat Fordyco, Boulton, Barnett, Corson (II), Townsend, Thomas, 'Williams, Martin (21) beat Redstone, Brown, Birss, and AY it tv (16), Seinnle and Paltridge (25) beat AVoodall and De Beero (21). Messrs. F. A. and J. J. Martin, A. Sawyer, and W. J. Henncssy left for Napier last night- .to represent tho Gisborne Club in t-hc bowling tournamout in connection with the carnival.
