Tho Gisborno Club’s new boat came to hand by the Alonowai last night. She will be brought ashore, and the ten-stono crew will practico in her before, leaving for Napier on AVednesdav. At the Auckland Rowing Association’s championship regatta, hold this afternoon, the principal events were decided as follows: Senior Fours: North Shore 1, St. George’s 2. Maiden Single Sculls: H. 13. Harper 1. „ , Alaiden Fours: Waitemata No. 1 1, North Shore No. 22. Champion Sculls: T. Richards (Waitemata) 1, AV. AVestray (AVaitemata) 2. Alaiden Pairs: AVaitemata (a rowover). Junior Fours: AA’est End (a rowover). Alaiden Double Sculls: Auckland!. Alaiden Fours (open): West End 1, Waitemata No. 1 2. Senior Double Sculls: St. Georges Junior Fours (open): A Vest End 1. Marshall Cup Single Sculls Handicap: Clark (of Kopu), losec, 1; AV. Westry (AA’aitemata), l2sec 2. Youths’ Fours: AA’aitemata (a rowover). The AA’aitemata Boating Club’s senior crow left for Napier this afternoon to take part in the rowing championships.. The crew is probably the best in the Auckland provinces. The North Shore light-weight crew, which met with its -first defeat this season to-day, will leavo for Napier on Tuesday.

NOMINATIONS FOR NAPIER, Press Association. NAPIER, March 15. The following nominations have been received for tho championship events in connection with the carnival regatta:— Champion Sculls: Akaroa, Union (Wanganui), Star (Wellington), Aramoho, AVanganui, Union (Napier). Champion Fours: Akaroa, Canterbury, Clifton (AA’aitara), Union (AVanganui), Union (Napier), AVaitemata (Auckland) and Picton, one crew each, and Blenheim (two crews). Champion Pairs: Akaroa, Union (AVanganui), Star (AVcllington), Picton. Champion Double Sculls: Akaroa, AVanganui, AVollington.
