AY AIR ARAB A LADIES’ CARNIVAL Press Association. MASTERTON, March 5. The AYairarapa Ladies’ Swimming Club’s sports were held to-day. The sports were of a very private nature, and no males were allowed to be present, and the press gven were excluded. The taking of such stops as these was strongly, commented on by the public, and also by a number of members of the club, anil the general opinion is, that is will not he conducive to the success of the club. The 25yds championship was won by Aliss E. Cunningham, and the 25 yds handicap was won by Mrs. N. James; long dive. Mrs. Dwyer; neatest header, Aliss Cunningham; fancy swimming, Aliss Cunningham; plain diving, Aliss Reardon ami Airs. AVheelcv a tie. The 25yds school championship was won by A. O’Leary.
