The Malster colt, which won at Ascot recently, was sold for 1500 guineas to a AVostralian buyer, who ran him to-day. Jn tho Cup race a splendid start created enthusiasm. Following are the results: Hurdles.—Designer, 10.3, 1; Louise, 9.0, 2; Devonier, 11.0, 3. Six others .started. Won by 10 lengths. Time, ontin ojsec. Ascot Stakes. —The Brower 1, Kuban 2, Emita 3. Two others ran. Won by throe lengths. Time, Imin I Usee.
Australian Cup.—Peru (Mickey), 1; Enchanted States, 2; Delaware 3. Gnuynicdos made the pace for the first two furlongs front Enchanted States, Melodrama, Delaware, Horetiere, and Peru. Enchanted States led into the straight the first time, and passed the stand. Along the river stretch Delaware took up the running anti forget! ahead at the bridge, leading b.v two lengths, with Enchanted States next. Then Peru ami Enchanted States Jed at- the Abattoirs from Gnnyniedcs by half a length, with Delaware and Peru next. The pace quickened at the sheds, Enchanted States sailing along from Ganvniedes, Peru, and Delaware, with Tulkeroo, Apologue, and Boornn rapidlv making up. Enchanted Stales ■ led the field round the home turn, and was first into the straight, hut Delaware headed her at tho distance, and Peru, hard-pressing the latter, ran along tho rails and won b.v a length from Tulkeroo, with Enchanted States a length away third. Time, •lmin OJ-sec. Steeplechase.—Soymour, 10.11, 1; Castanoo, 9.5, 2; Itevcaler, 9.3, 3. .mx others started. A good race. A) on by 12 lengths. Time, lmin 17-Jsec. ’ Bourko Handicap.
