ORICK ET ASSOCIATION. The usual weekly meeting of the .Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held in the British Empire Hotel last evening, Mr. W. Gibson in the'chair. The Tarn hern Club intimated that they would be unable to commence their match on the concrete wicket at Victoria Domain on Saturday next until 3 o’clock, ft was decided that ill matches against the Taruhcru Club in future this season bo commenced at- 3 o'clock, and continued while the umpires considered the light fit for play.

It was decided that the third round in the Saturday competition be played right out, the matches to be played at Taruheru if Victoria Domain be not available.

The concert committee met, and completed arrangements for the encrtainnient to be held in His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday evening next. It was stated that the tickets wore going off splendidly, and everything pointed to a complete success.

The following team will represent Union against To Ran at Victoria Domain to-morrow afternoon:—Lang, ■ idler, J. Gibson, Grant, Austen, Emanuel, Will Anson, Do.vle, Sheridan, Pollock, Coleman: emergencies, Illtrain, .Luttrell, Andrews. The match will bo played on the turf wicket. THE ENGLISHMEN’S TOUR.
