FASHIONABLE WEDDING.
SAINSBURY—SHERRATT
At Holy Trinity Church yesterday afternoon Air. Claude Ruff ell Sainsbury, Hangaroa, was married to Aliss Elizabeth Amy Sherratt,eldest daughter of Air. AV. G. Sherratt. llie Rev. L. .Dawson Thomas conducted the service, which was a choral one. Air. E. N. Sidebottom presided at the organ, and played “The Voice that Breathed o’er Eden” when , the wedding party entered the church, and the “Wedding Alarch” at the conclusion of the ceremony. The bride was given away by her father. She was dressed ill white mervilleux, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms. Aliases Aluriel and Yolande Sherratt, sisters of the bride, Kate Sherratt, cousin, and Rachael Williams, acted as bridesmaids, being dressed in white chiffon taffeta, with green and brown hats. The bride and bridesmaids carried beautiful shower bouquets. Alessrs Osborne Sainsbury, Randall Sherratt, George Reynolds, and Robert K. Murphy acted as groomsmen. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a beautiful gold ring, and to tko bridesmaids gold pendants. Among the many attractive frocks the following were the most conspicuous:—Airs. W. Sherratt (mother of the bride) wore a dress of pale heliotrope silk, and hat of shaded heliotrope, and she carried a bouquet of ferns and heliotrope asters; Airs. Richard Sherratt wore a gown of mauve and white striped taffetas, and violet hat; Airs. Sainsbury (mother of the bridegroom) wore an effective dress of black silk voile, with vest and sleeves of black silk lace, black hat with tiny French rosebuds; Airs. H. King, pale heliotrope silk dress, black crinoline straw bat with black plume; Airs. DeLautour, blade silk merveilleux dress, with cream lace vest and touches of pale blue velvet, black hat; Airs. IT. DeLautour, cream serge costume, trimmed with Irish crochet, soft grey crinoline straw hat with shaded roses; Airs. Nolan, floral grey chiffon taffetas banded with black velvet, black crinoline straw liat with plume; Airs. C. Slierriff, dark green silk taffetas dress, cream and green bat; Airs. H.
