(To the Editor.) Sir, —When tho Hon. Mr Fowlds comes to Gisborne I hope he will give a public addles, and that if lie does so, lie will not be like the Premier at Auckland, refuse to answer questions. What f want to get is a straight-out answer from the Hon. gentleman himself, as to whether he is in favour of land nationalisation. If he is, as L have heard, then I claim that there should lie no room for him in a New Zealand cabinet. Such doctrines arc most pernicious, and how can we wonder at the socialism exhibited in our land laws if land nationalists help to frame them. I am, etc.,
