A Wellington auctioneer to-day received the following memo regarding tin. shipments delate. -Cable to W Ten shillings a case for grapes is no good to us, though of course it seems * lot of money, but look at- the expense to como off. Iho Ma ag Muscatel grapes (of which T sent a case of each as samples) cost mote shillings in Sydney, and anyone in Wellington knows good grapes when seen and they should have rushed those grapes at Sd a lb wholesa e, which would have worked out a- 16* per case. To-day (Ist February) 1 send a shimnent of choice muscats inl2 round fancy boxes, which must Prino- Sd a lb. to clear expenses.
