Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Feb. 5. Tho first annual meeting of the Ruahino Rifle Association was held on tho Danuovir'ko range on Tuesday and Wednesday, and proved thoroughly successful. About Go competitors' took part, including representatives from Wellington, Opaki. Tarad ale, and tho districts surrounding Dannevirke. There were eight matches, and the following were the results:—Hawke’s Bay match, Rifleman Marshall, Pahiatua, 66; Glengarry Match, Rifleman A. Herbert, Pongaroa, 63; Dannevirke Match, Rifleman M R. Jarvis, Taradale, 96; Ruahino Match, Rifleman W. Franklin, 62; Consolation, Rifleman F. Herbert, Pongaroa, 34; Ruahino Shield, Dannevirke team; Grand Aggregate Match, Rifleman H. Smith, Taradale, 285; Champion Belt, Rifleman J. R. Franklin, Weber, 270; Franklin Shield, Taradale Rifle Club, 451.
