HOLIDAY IN WELLINGTON.

ANNIVERSARY DAY. Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 22. There was a close holiday in Wellington to-day to celebrate the anniversary of tlio province. The chief attraction was the race meeting at Trontham, where there was a- record attendance. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club held its annual regatta in the harbor, and there were numerous picnic parties and harbor excursionists-
