Special to Times. WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. A two thousand gallon tramway water sprinkler has been tried on tho streets. It- throws a spray 2 ft wide and can cover five miles of track with one filling. Mr David Findlay has severed his connection jvtlr the firm of Findlay and Dalziel ,of which his brother, tho Attorney-General, is the head, and has started business on his own account. Air Alfred- I-lill intends to enter tho ranks of the music-teaching profession in AVellington. A syndicate has acquired tho steamer AVnitnra and will use her as a fish trawler in the Marlborough Sounds with a view to supplying the AVellington market. Air Smith, formerly of the Nora Niven, a Grimsby man, will have charge of the trawler. The fish will be conveyed to AVellington by the daily passenger steamers.
