Malcolm and Co report as follows: —Saturday's salo was well attended, every line finding buyers at satisfactory prices to growers, viz, old onions lid to 13d, new onions l td to 2d, cabbages 2s 3d per dozen, kumeras ltd per lb, eoeonnuts 2s Gd per dozen, now potatoes lid to 2d, per lb, old 3s to 6s per sack, apples Is to Ss Gd per case, pears 2s Gd to 4s half ease, eggs Is 4d to Is Gd dozen, cockerels and pullets t)d to lOd, liens Is 4d to Is 9d, 9d and 10, liens Is 4d to Is 9d, ducks Is Id and Is Gd, P. 13. Wyandot tes 2s per pair Mrs. Hirst’s furniture salo brought togother a large number of buyers. The buyer of the piano was offered £5 on his bargain a few minutes after purchase, but declined. Dr. Kalian's furniture is to be sold on Wednesday noxt at the Mart- at 2 o’clock sharp. There was akeen demand for fruit. The following revenue was received it the Custom house last week: Customs duties £690 3s lid, beer duty £3O Ss, light duos £9 4s Sd, shipping fees £5 11s Gd, Harbor Board revenue £57 11s 3d, other receipts £149 ss; total, £942 4s 4d. At the Lowe Street Horse Bazaar on Saturday the entry was made up chiefly by hacks which sold at average rates. A few heavy trap horses submitted sold at good prices. Messrs Common, Shelton and Coy and Dalgoty and Coy announce by advertisement in this issue that in future their stock sales at- Mat.iwhcro will start at 10.45 a.m.
