Tho Committee of the Franco-Brit-ish Exhibition has informed the Agents’s-General that- it is impossible to reserve space in te fine arts building for Australian artists. All colonial pictures must be sent for approval. The space for the loan section of _women’s work does not exceed 1500 feet, and only 150 feet is available for Australia, The AgentsGeneral offered 2000 feet in the Australian Court, but the Melbourne authorities would not accept.
