ABYSSINIANS THE OFFENDERS
United Press Association—Copyright (Received January 10, 10.35 p.m.) MASSOWAH, January 10. Two thousand Abvssinians raided the Lugli Territory, in Italian Somaliland, killing and plundering many merchants. Some tribes sided with the Abyssinians and some with the Italians. A battle was fought and the losses were very great- on both sides. It is believed that King Meno!ik did not authorise the raid.
