HON. McNAB’S VISIT.

The chairman of the Cook County Council yesterday received the following telegram- from the Hon. R. McNab from Wellington : —-“Hope to roach Gisborne on evening of Friday, 17th inst., visiting Te A-rai, and leaving Monday ,morning. Will be happy to meet yourself and any who may desire to meet me on public business.” Tho Hon. Captain Tucker states that tho matter will he brought before the County Council on Friday, 17th inst., its next meeting night-. The Minister should arrive in the afternoon, and the Council would adjourn. Probably he would bo met at tho Waipaoa bridge.
