[TO THE EdITOB.] Sir,—Can you explain to 111 c how it is that an a place like Poverty ■, "'kero we are supposed to have sucli splendid opportunities for fruit growing that prices for a.ll kinds of truit are so high that it is reallv a luxury. This hot weather we ought r o almost live on friut and vegetables , " x ; waut to keep in good health, hut how may people can afford to buy it at all. Yet we are told by the orchard growers that it doesn’t pay them to go in for fruit-growing. I here must be a. screw loose sorneivhere.—l am, etc. “INQUISITIVE.”
