J “The Times” publishes a statement to tho effect that negotiations are progressing for the formation of “Tho Times” into a limited company, under tho chairmanship of Mr. A. F. Walter, and with Mr. O. A. Pearson as managing director. The latter will reorganise the business management. The editorial diameter of the paper remains unchanged, and will fie conducted on the lines of tue Independent Party in politics.
