The butter , market remains firm and there is a general and active demand. Light shipments are expected. Choicest New Zealand, is at 119 s, Australian 116 s, Argentine 117 s, Danish 1245, and Siberian 112 s The cheese market remains firm with an upward tendency. AVhitc make is at 67s and colored at 62s per cwt. The hemp market is steady, but the market prospects are uncertain, and transactions are moderate. Good fair grade on spot is at £2B 10s. fangrade on spot £27 10s, March shipments good fair grade £2< 10s fair grade £27, fair current inaiket £29 per ton. The cocksfoot seed market is very firm and no immediate change is expected. There are light stocks on hand and the quotation is 76s per cwt. for 171 b bright dressed seed. There is a better demand tor woo 1! and prices arc firm.
