Walker denies that the direction of “The Times" will pass out of the Walker family. The ’‘Chronicle” states that Lord Northcliffe, Sir G. Newnes, and Mr. C. A. Pearson declare that the report that “The Times’’ will be sold to the proprietors of several magazines and newspapers does not- refer to them.
