Drunkenness. —Charles Dim iels, alias Cucumber, the Samoan native who was before the Court a fortnight ago on several charges, appeared again on Saturday morning to answer a charge of drunkenness. Accused pleaded guilty and was lined £3, with 2 s costs, in default 7 days’ imprisonment with hard labor.— 1 nomas Quinn for a similar offence was fined Ids, with 2s costs, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment. Obscene Language.—Thomas Quinn was also charged with using obscene language in a public place, and was fined £5 for this offence, with costs 2s, or in default 11 days’ imprisonment with hard labor. Resisting the ’Police. —A further charge was made against Quinn of having resisted Constable Pntt in the execution of his duty. Kvi Duct* was given l:y the arresting constible and accused was fined £1 .ith 2s costs in default 7 days imprisonment.
